Our History
Since 1966, Hotel Fariones has been part of Lanzarote’s story. It was the island’s first hotel, marking the beginning of a new approach to tourism – one that is close, respectful, and deeply connected to the surroundings. Located in a privileged area of Puerto del Carmen, it has always been a landmark for those seeking to experience the true essence of Lanzarote. In 2020, the hotel reopened as a five-star design hotel, preserving its original soul while adapting to a more conscious traveller. Today, almost six decades later, we still believe that travelling is about connecting with the history, landscape and soul of a destination.

It features 213 warm, sea-facing rooms, all with spacious terraces and views of the Atlantic, a seafront Wellness retreat, and a gastronomic concept based on local, zero-kilometre produce.
